2007 – MARIE-CLAIRE ET MARTHE, PORTRAIT DE FAMILLE, 19 mn, mini DV
Documentary
In a village in Burgundy, old Marthe lives with her daughter, Marie-Claire, 42 years old with Down’s syndrome. Marie-Claire works at the factory and Marthe watches over her plants. They argue, take walks, kiss. The family visits them and Marthe’s daughters come to help her in her daily life.
A portrait in the privacy of my family, in the house of my ancestors in Burgundy, among cows and the records of Johnny Halliday that my aunt Marie-Claire collects.
